Claudia Schiffer and her husband Matthew Vaughn are expecting their third child. Claudia, 39, already has two children: Caspar, six, and Clementine, five.
The supermodel married Matthew Vaughn in 2003 and immediately decided to start their family together.
“I thought, ‘I have the right man, I’m going to have kids right away, let’s not waste time’,” she has said.
Claudia is one of the original supermodels and continues her career at age 39. Schiffer claims that pregnancy is actually good for her figure.
“I love being pregnant. You can do whatever you want. You don’t feel guilty, because I used to feel guilty about having a day off.
“And, you know, something really strange happened to me. Before my pregnancies, I was someone who had to watch their weight. I had a personal trainer, I was working out, I would never eat anything sweet. Anyway, I got pregnant and when I was breastfeeding it just came off. I can eat whatever I want. If I don’t eat enough I will lose weight.”
Claudia, who is due in May, said in a statement, “We are thrilled about the good news and can hardly wait to have a bigger family.”
