Jerry Ayer, a taxidermist in Texas, has a fresh corpse of what is believed to be a chupacabra. Read more on the freaky creature or chupacabra found in Texas and see video of the story below.
Jerry Ayer, who is a teacher at the Blanco Taxidermy School, says one of his students was the one who actually discovered the chupacabra. “It got into his cousin’s barn and they thought maybe it was a rodent tearing stuff up, and they no idea since they’ve never seen it,” Ayers said. “He got out some poison and this is what they got the next day.”
The freaky animal looks similar to a coyote but with longer legs and leathery skin. The legendary chupacabra is rumored to inhabit Puerto Rico and Central America, although they have reportedly been spotted north of the Mexican border.
‘Chupacabra’ means ‘goatsucker’, and the creature is believed to drink blood from livestock. Many goats are found dead, usually with a few puncture wounds found around the chest and throat, and completely drained of blood.
