Actor Charlie Sheen can’t seem to catch a break lately with facing felony menacing and misdemeanor assault charges and now his SUV being stolen and wrecked!
Sheen’s Mercedes was found hundreds of feet at the bottom of a cliff in a brushy ravine near his home in Sherman Oaks. There is no evidence of anyone being in the car when it was crashed.
Police received an emergency call at around 4 a.m. from an OnStar alert system at about the same time Charlie Sheen phoned police to say his SUV had been stolen.
Officers discovered Sheen’s vehicle upside-down in a ravine about 300 to 400 feet down the cliff.
Investigators combed the area on foot and by helicopter but didn’t find anyone in or near the vehicle.
At least Charlie Sheen Doesn’t appear to have been involved because the actor would have been badly injured so it is being treated as an auto theft investigation.
Sheen, 42, has enough on his plate already after his Christmas day arrest in Colorado. The police report quoted his wife, Brooke, as saying he had pinned her down on the bed while holding a knife to her throat.
The actor will be arraigned Monday in Aspen on assault charges.
