Celebrity surfers have been warned to stay out of the water at a Santa Monica beach after a great white shark was spotted there.  Read more on this story below.

There are many celebrities that like to surf in that area and includes Matthew McConaughey, Adam Sandler and Cameron Diaz.

Everyone has been put on high alert after the great white shark was photographed jumping out of the water off the California coast. The great white appeared to be eight to ten feet in length!

Surfer John Philbin, who appeared in Point Break alongside the late Patrick Swayze, told People magazine , “People are taking this seriously. It’s kept more than a few people out of the water this week.”
