Brittany Murphy has died at the age of 32 after going into full cardiac arrest on Sunday and was unable to be revived.
The Los Angeles Fire Department received a 911 call from the home of Brittany Murphy and her husband Simon Monjack at around 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
Murphy was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Brittany Murphy has starred in movies such as “8 Mile,” “Don’t Say a Word”, and “Just Married”, and “Little Black Book.”
Brittany became extremely popular in 1995 as the sidekick in “Clueless”.
Murphy also was a singer and released the single “Faster Kill Pussycat,” which was very popular at dance clubs.
The actresses last big movie was “Sin City” in 2005.
Brittany raised eyebrows when she secretly married screenwriter Simon Monjack in May 2007.
But Brittany seemed to be totally enamored with her husband and told OK Magazine what she loved about being married to Simon Monjack: “Getting up every morning and going to sleep every night next to my soul mate.”
“We first met when I was 17 years old. We checked in with each other throughout the years and remained friends. The easiest decision I ever had in my life was getting married.”
