Britney Spears might have struck out with her latest album but fans are still braying for new material — even if it’s actually kind of vintage. Last night (February 16), a demo called “Unbroken” surfaced online and it didn’t take long for the Brit Brit faithful to peg it as unreleased Fraser T Smith production from the Femme Fatale era.
The British hitmaker also contributed “Trouble For Me” and Japanese bonus track “Scary” to Britney’s previous LP and “Unbroken” does sound quite similar to those pristine pop tunes. “You put the pieces back together, make feel like I was never open,” she sings. “You make me feel unbroken.” Even in its unfinished state, this is better than the vast majority of Britney Jean. Listen to the gem after the jump.
