When Beyonce kicked off The Mrs. Carter Show world tour way back on April 15, 2013 in Serbia there was game-changing visual album. She simply performed songs from her previous LP 4 with a sprinkling of classic hits, and hoped fans would turn up regardless. And they sure did. 132 shows later, the blockbuster live extravaganza finally wrapped up in Lisbon, Portugal last night (March 27).
The final gross hasn’t been tallied but The Mrs. Carter Show has already raked in more than $200 million, which makes it one of the 10 highest grossing tours of the decade. To celebrate another career milestone, Bey popped bottles with husband Jay Z and spent time with her crew (see pics up top). The question on everyone’s lips is how long will it be until she’s on the road again? Beyonce is still burning up the charts and North America is crying out for new dates.
