CNN anchorman Anderson Cooper, who has been covering the earthquake and relief efforts in Haiti, has decided to adopt a Haitian orphan. Read more on Anderson’s adoption plans below.
Anderson Cooper and his hot boyfriend Ben Maisani plan to adopt a child from earthquake-devastated Haiti and raise the child together in the home they recently purchased together in New York.

“Ben has been the best thing that’s ever happened to Anderson. They both feel they’re ready for a baby.”
Anderson Cooper, 42, has been in Haiti shortly after the terrible earthquake struck on January 12.
Cooper will still be working all over the world covering top stories and Ben will be taking care of the child when Anderson is away.
“It just means once they get their son, he won’t jump on a plane for every story,” said the friend.
“Plus Ben is totally capable of keeping things under control when Anderson is away.
