Yankees player Alex Rodriguez gave his girlfriend Kate Hudson some bling to thank her for supporting him as his team won the World Series.  Read more on Kate Hudson and A-Rod’s relationship below.

A-Rod gave Kate a beautiful $39,000 white gold Louis Vuitton ring set with pink sapphires and diamonds as a thank you for her support.

An insider said of the ring:

“It’s a beautiful piece of jewelry. Alex] has a World Series ring, and now she does, too.”

Kate made a recent appearance on Oprah to promote her musical “Nine” and talk went to her love-life which left Kate giggling and nervous.

Kate laughed, “Oh, you’re gonna do it to me,” and then buried her head in her hands as host Oprah Winfrey flashed a photo of Hudson and her beau kissing, and asked, “So, how did y’all meet?”

Kate responded by saying, “No comment,” but Winfrey wouldn’t stop pressing, “You can’t tell me how you met?”

Hudson nervously said, “I don’t even know where to begin,” and Oprah jumped in asking, “At a grocery store, at a party…?”

The actress finally gave up, “(It was) years ago… like, randomly.”

Then Oprah asked, “And things are going well?” Hudson replied, “I am very happy.”
