“Music critics are all f**king idiots,” Adam Levine explains to Inked magazine — clearly referring to the negative reviews of Maroon 5‘s most recent album Overexposed.“There’s obviously a certain balance between pursuing an audience and pursuing what you love to do, but I love what we do. I would never put out a record I didn’t want to listen to.” Clearly, fans agree with the Voice coach — after all, “Payphone” was voted our Song Of The Summer.

Other than his love of music the “Moves Like Jagger” crooner also has a thing for tattoos. He shared in the mag’s September issue that he got his first marking of a dove when he was 21. His most recent design? “I was in Japan and I got this necklace. I’m not sure why I got it — I think I was bored. But I like it.” That’s reason enough for us to drool over Adam’s inked biceps.
