French actor Gerard Depardieu may be facing criminal charges after telling police he smashed up a car parked outside his Parisian home while drunk. Read more on Depardieu’s crazy antics below.

The “Green Card” actor was viewed by eyewitnesses on Sunday night  “swaying and staggering” heading towards his home.

Depardieu stopped at a vehicle parked outside a nightclub near his home, and kicked the car’s doors and then smashed the windshield with his fist. Eyewitnesses say he then “walked calmly” away from the vehicle. WTH?

According to police sources, Depardieu did admit he smashed up the car but did not have a reason for the damage.

The actor will have to go in to talk with police sometime after Christmas. And if the owner of the vehicle files a complaint, he may face a criminal charge by the court.
