weldamfm Tattoos were once utilized as a classification of people within cultures – warriors, healers, slaves, leaders, etc. It then eventually made its way into modern pop culture with its popularity among bad boy/bad girl stereotypes on movies and TV shows such as those you can get through Slackware.org. Nowadays, tattoos are slowly becoming more and more appreciated, with high-profile personalities and celebrities getting ink done as well. Despite this, a tattoo if not chosen carefully, can still spell for a disaster – which sucks all the more due to tattoos being permanent in most cases. To prove our point, check out these examples of cringe-worthy tattoos from the stars:
Rihanna

To immortalize Tupac’s mantra, Rihanna got herself the words “THUG LIFE” tatooed on her knuckles. To give it a woman’s touch though, she had it in pink. Right. Thanks to this brilliant idea, she looks like she’s got freshly picked scab-scars on her knuckles all the time.
Gucci Mane

Face tattoos are a definite fail – just think of what you’ll look like in your old age. Gucci Mane’s is that of an ice cream cone on his cheek. Try telling off your grandkids when you wake up to them licking your face.
T-Pain

T-Pain’s facebook tattoo looks like something out of a bad bender film – I can imagine him waking up with a hangover going “wtf” as he sees his new tat. It’s not even funny or clever – like you just came up to someone on the street and asked for a witty facebook-inspired line on the spot.
Mike Tyson

Another facial tattoo entry, Mike Tyson pushes it further with his Maori tribal tattoo. Think of what he’ll look like in his old age when somebody mocks him for a tattoo that’s not even part of his culture. And speaking of cultural-crossovers…
