Andrea Corr of The Corrs was married at St Joseph’s Church in Miltown Malbay, Co Clare.

Corr’s husband Brett is son of billionaire businessman and entrepreneur Dermot Desmond.

The celebrity guest list included former Celtic managers Gordon Strachan and Martin O’Neill, champion racehorse owner and breeder John Magnier and comedian Patrick Kielty.

Other guests included billionaire media mogul Denis O’Brien, concert promoter Denis Desmond and race horse owner Michael Tabor.

U2’s Bono and wife Ali were also in attendance.

Sources said the church was adorned with white and lavender flowers.

Wedding florist Mary Mulqueen, who was busy putting the finishing touches to the lavish work of art, revealed she only dealt with a wedding planner and not the happy couple.

“We were working away late last night,” she said. “We were sworn to secrecy as it was a secret location.”

Onlookers tried to catch a glimpse of the newly married couple as they left the church.

“They had umbrellas coming out of the church but she made them put them down and she waved to everybody and got into the car and thanked everyone for coming.”
