“Andy Keaton” of Family Ties, Brian Bonsall, has been arrested for assault in Colorado. Read more on Brian Bonsall’s arrest below.

Brian Bonsall, 28, got into a fight at an apartment on Saturday and hit his friend with part of a broken wooden stool.,

Bonsall played the part of Michael J. Fox’s little brother Andy Keaton on the 1980’s sitcom “Family Ties”.

Brian reportedly told police officers he had been drinking and didn’t even remember what had happened, and is being held in the Boulder County Jail and is due in court on Wednesday. He is being held in the Boulder County Jail and is due in court on Wednesday.

This isn’t the first time the child actor has gotten into trouble. Brian Bonsall was sentenced to probation in 2007 after assaulting his girlfriend. Bonsall was later convicted of violating his probation.

Bonsal’s arrest for assault comes just a week after his television mother “Elyse Keaton”, Meredith Baxter, revealed she is a lesbian.
