It appears as if the members of Fall Out Boy are going their separate ways. Read what the members of FOB had to say on the split below.
There are reports that Fall Out Boy has come to an end, confirmed by Pete Wentz’s posts on Twitter.
Pete Wentz wrote on his Twitter Monday night, “Can’t imagine playing in FOB again.” And Pete added, “Something would have to change in my head or my heart—not my wallet. It’d have to be real…Don’t you get it? A hiatus is forever until you get lonely or old. I don’t plan on either.”
And the band’s frontman, Patrick Stump, told Spin.com, “I’m not in Fall Out Boy right now.” Stump adds, “Whether we play again or not, I don’t know. If we do, it will be for the right reasons. If we don’t, it will also be for the right reasons.”
Patrick Stump is moving on and putting out a solo record. FOB’s guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley have teamed up with members of Anthrax to form Damned Things.
Pete Wentz is in New York City with wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and their baby boy Bronx, recording a track for “Alice in Wonderland” with Mark Hoppus of Blink 182. .
“Feel like I have to be honest but fair to my bros in the band at the same time—it’s no1’s fault ppl grow apart,” Pete tweeted. “Not gonna speak to anything publicly about the band internally. My brothers 2 the grave. Thnx 4 being there from day 1.”
