Hall, 38, put out a statement Wednesday saying that he is being successfully treated for Hodgkin’s lymphoma and that he was fortunate to be diagnosed with a “treatable and curable condition.”
The “Dexter” actor also thanked his doctors.
“The Hodgkin’s lymphoma is in complete remission and has been for some time,” the actor’s spokesperson stated. “The treatment will continue as planned.”
Michael plans to attend Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, and is nominated for his role as a serial killer in the Showtime series. Hall will be attending the award ceremony with his wife and co-star, Jennifer Carpenter.
Hall will be returning for Dexter’s fifth season later this year.
