Especially since it was performed by counter-cultural (Canadian) idol Neil Young… er, yeah. Call yourself a cool cat and check below for the clearest sign yet that American Idol Season 9 is going to heal the world.

Honestly, we couldn’t think of a more appropriate artist to perform a song so important. Well, maybe these people. We’re just lucky that Late Night With Jimmy Fallon exists to call attention to deserving artists like Platt. (P.S. We love you Jimmy.)
